Description: The Basic FreezeAlarm provides the most cost effective means to protect your home, cabin or business against winter freeze up and the resulting water damage caused by burst pipes. The Basic FreezeAlarm will automatically begin calling one telephone number when the temperature drops below 45°F(7°C) or if it rises above 85°F(29°C). The enhanced features of this model include: It will continue to call every 15 minutes (or 2 hours depending upon setup) Notifies you with a pre-recorded voice alarm message to the person answering the call (or to an answering machine) that there is a temperature alarm at your monitored location. The alarm call out can be canceled by calling back to the Basic FreezeAlarm from any phone in the world. The Basic FreezeAlarm now works perfectly with an answering machine at either the monitored or call-to locations. The Basic FreezeAlarm model automatically resets when the temperature rises above 45°F(7°C). This model operates on a 9 volt battery (lithium or alkaline recommended, but not included). Installation is as simple as plugging in a phone line. It works on an existing, standard, single telephone line. It will not interfere with your existing telephone service in any way.Like all of our FreezeAlarms, there are no monthly monitoring fees and set-up takes only a few minutes. Description: The Deluxe FreezeAlarm provides easy, low cost protection against falling or rising temperatures and prolonged power failures. The Deluxe FreezeAlarm is not only perfect for monitoring a home or cabin, but is also great for monitoring rising temperatures in a home, refrigerator, walk-in cooler/freezer, computer room or greenhouse. The Pre-Heat/Cool Feature allows you to turn up or down the heat or air conditioning with a phone call. Other features include: Automatically calls up to three phone numbers if the temperature gets out of range, the power goes out or if the back-up battery requires replacing. Quick Status Check feature allows you to check the current temperature, power and back-up battery statusall with a simple, 15 second phone call. If you have an answering machine or voice mail at the location you are monitoring, you can still receive messages or you can access your FreezeAlarm through a simple procedure. If the FreezeAlarm is calling locations that have voice mail or answering machines, you will hear all or a portion of the alarm message on your message system. The Deluxe FreezeAlarm uses your existing telephone line to make outgoing alarm calls. You do not need an additional line, but you do need a regular telephone line. Some DSL and digital phone systems work just fine, but testing with these systems is essential. The FreezeAlarm plugs into a regular 110V power outlet, but uses a 9V lithium battery back-up power.
