The LN1000 Intrinsically Safe Annunciator provides a unique solution for problems with hazardous area alarm indication. The annunciator provides a visual display of the alarm status including first-up information and can be mounted in the hazardous area for the benefit of operators working in any Zone. The lightweight stainless steel construction gives a compact and simple to install modular unit which can easily be expanded by the addition of extra alarm cards. Maintenance can be carried out live without the necessity of gas checks or prior shutdown. Unlike flameproof, purged and type N systems, installation is simple and relatively low cost. Power to the annunciator is supplied from the safe area through a single Intrinsically Safe interface for up to 32 channels. The AlarmWatch unit is part of the GSM based Watch series. The AW01 combines 4 contact inputs. All products in the Watch range are truly stand-alone and are suitable for use in the most remote locations. The only limitation to use is the availability of a GSM signal. The Alarm Watch units are battery powered which is user replaceable, with a life expectancy of around two years (depending on usage). The unit can be powered by 12v if required. Many GSM alarm units use off the shelf GSM modems. These GSM modems have a habit of losing communication usually due to problems with the network, this may only happen once or twice a year and normally all that is required is a simple manual re-set of the modem module. More Information Integrate legacy equipment into SNMP management platforms Works over dial-up or IP connections Many data and telecommunications devices use SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) to manage alarms from local or remotely located equipment. Consequently, many organisations have standardised on an SNMP management platform for monitoring equipment across IP networks. There is however, a vast amount of equipment in the field that needs to be managed and which does not use this protocol. Our Eclipse Alarm Management Conversion (AMC) package has been designed to receive an alarm from equipment over a dial-up or IP connection as an ASCII text message, convert it to an SNMP trap and forward it to an SNMP management system. It is an ideal, cost effective solution for integrating any legacy equipment that you have on your network into an IP-based SNMP management system. Although commonly used in data networks, SNMP does not use an acknowledgement for received messages, i.e. it sends an alarm and assumes it will arrive. For many applications, particularly those using dial-up connectivity, this may not be reliable. You can set Eclipse AMC to acknowledge alarms, thus providing you with a more robust solution. >>>

The LONDEX Range of Alarm Annunciators were acquired by RTK Engineering Ltd in 1996 and have been extensively used in all industry types but are very common within Sub Station & Turbine applications due to its historical connection with GEC, Ruston Gas Turbines & Cambridge Instruments. The Londalert 32 & Londalert 4 are fully integrated 32 channel General Purpose Alarm Annunciators that are suitable for 19" or Flush Panel mounting. The display fascia's offer differing ergonomic solutions but the features are largely common. 1 to 32 Normally Open or Normally Closed Inputs can be connected via the internal terminal interface card accessed from the rear of the unit Integral Pushbuttons & Audible. Integral Common Horn & Common Alarm Relays. Alarm Sequences can be set on the Centralised Logic Control board and are compliant to ISA S18.1 1979. 24VDC is the standard operating voltage although 48VDC versions are available and optional integral power supplies allow direct operation from 110 / 240VAC or 110VDC as required. >>>
