The Nafion™ solution also acts as a binding agent to hold the platinum, membrane, and carbon paper together. Nafion™ solution is perfluroinated ion-exchange solution, 5wt. % in a mixture of lower aliphatic alcohols and water. Contains 15% to 20% water. Teflon Emulsion Both Teflon PTFE and Teflon FEP are hydrophobic polymers and are the key components used in electrochemical cells such as fuel cells to produce a wide range hydrophobicity property in the gas diffusion electrode. Schneider Elektrotechnik GmbH to counter this development with the extension of the C-TEC-series. The new module C-TEC 2402 is a capacitor buffer module with ultra capacitors which may provide 0,5 KJ respectively 500 Ws as energy storage.
