The THREADBARs ® are hot rolled, quenched and tempered, followed by cold working and further tempering, to achieve the necessary performance. DYWIDAG Prestressing Steel THREADBARs ®, 26.5mm - 47mm, offer a fatigue resistance in excess of 2 million load cycles, over a tensile range of 630 - 682 N/mm 2 as specified in BS 4447 (Performance of Prestressing Anchorages).
